It has a beautiful deep ruby red color to the eye and introduces important hints of small wild fruits and Mediterranean scrub to the nose supported by a delicious spiciness and balsamic finish. In the mouth it is full and round, of great elegance, with evident but very fine tannins, great freshness and a return of spicy aromas. The finish is very persistent.
An important wine for special occasions, it accompanies tasty dishes, especially meat, as well as long-matured cheeses but is at its best with game. Try it with pici-pasta with wild boar ragù.
