A legendary wine, among the most famous and awarded Italian reds, San Leonardo represents the magical result of a tradition that is defined throughout the world as the “Bordeaux blend”. Its journey began in the early 80s and since then it has always and only been produced in those vintages considered exceptional, for this reason vintages such as 1984, 1989, 1992, 1998 and 2002 were skipped.
A powerful and elegant red in which the colours, aromas and flavors of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot, left to mature for 18/24 months in small oak barrels, blend harmoniously creating a unique, intense wine with great depth of flavour.
