The grapes used to produce the Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Madonna del Piano 2010 from Tenuta Valdicava are mainly Sangiovese Grosso. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for approximately fourteen days. The wine then ages for at least 48 months in French oak barrels. Vinification takes place in the Montalcino area of Tuscany, specifically in the municipality of the same name. The vineyards are located on clay and limestone soils, exposed to excellent sunlight. Brunello Riserva Madonna del Piano 2010 Valdicava: TASTING This Brunello has a deep ruby red color, enriched by garnet reflections. The nose features intense notes of ripe red fruits, spices and delicate nuances of wood. On the palate it is well balanced and structured, with a perfect integration between acidity and tannins.
